PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, and time zone. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

• - “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
• - “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Google ReCaptcha. We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on our website. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place. Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam. Additionally when you join a Hangout Habit group, we collect certain information from you, including your name, timezone, and contact information (either a phone number or email address). We refer to this information as “User Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and User Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

User Information: We use the User Information that we collect generally to perform services associated with the Site (including sending scheduling polls, sending poll results, and sending updates regarding your service).

Device Information: We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Hangout Habit uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Hangout Habit. Although Hangout Habit owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Hangout Habit application, you retain all rights to your data. We do not share your personal data with any 3rd parties without your prior authorization , and we will never sell data to 3rd parties. We process data inside of the United States. We transfer data with third-parties necessary to our ability to provide our services, all of whom are GDPR-compliant and provide the necessary safeguards required if they are outside of the EU.

We may, however, share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. DATA RETENTION

When you use our scheduling services on our Site, we will maintain your User Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. When a user requests to leave a group, we delete their contact information (email address and phone number), but keep their name, so other users can see who left the group. If a user would like us to delete further information, they can contact us using the information below.

MINORS

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 14.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
